Requirements
- Hands-on experience maintaining mechanically operated embroidery machines
- Comfortable with thread tensioning, timing, and machine calibration
- Confident communicator, able to explain techniques clearly to customers
- Proven ability to work both solo and within a supportive team
- Familiar with models like Singer, Cornely, JUKI, and Brother
- Solid mechanical aptitude and a love for problem solving
- Strong attention to detail, especially during routine servicing
- Previous experience with traditional chainstitch or Irish embroidery machines is a big plus
Salary Details
This full-time position pays £38,700.00 to £40,000.00 per year based on 37.5 hours a week. The salary reflects both your hands-on expertise and your ability to keep the workshop running like clockwork.
About the Role
This isn’t your average technician role. As their Workshop Technician, you’ll be the heartbeat of their operations. From Salford, you’ll maintain and fine-tune the embroidery machines that fuel both in-house production and remote customer success. This means fixing issues fast, adjusting machines for optimal output, and sharing your know-how to ensure others can create without a hitch.
