Requirements
- Degree in a numerate subject or equivalent experience
- Strong experience in a highly analytical environment
- Skilled in Excel, PowerPoint, and statistical analysis techniques
- Confident using data to tell compelling stories and drive decisions
- Solid grasp of capacity and demand modelling
- Experience managing large projects or multiple streams of work
- Working knowledge of lean or six sigma improvement methods
- Friendly communicator who thrives in a team environment
- A full UK driving licence or access to transport for off-site work
Bonus if you’ve worked with NHS data or supervised a small team

Starting from £46,148 up to £52,809, depending on experience. NHS benefits and pension included.
About the Role
This is a chance to lead from the data front. Based in the Corporate Information and Analysis team, the role connects across Care Groups and service improvement teams. The successful applicant will bring robust analysis to the table—helping services improve, projects succeed, and decisions get made with confidence.
You’ll be their go-to expert for modelling demand and capacity, translating raw numbers into stories that make change happen. You’ll advise across teams, tackle complex data problems, and ensure your work leads to visible, patient-focused improvements. If you love solving real-world challenges with data, this is a role where your input won’t just be heard—it’ll make things better.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the in-house expert on healthcare analytics
- Provide accurate reports that highlight performance and outcomes
- Deliver capacity and demand models that shape smarter services
- Guide project teams with insight-led decision-making
- Train others on effective data collection and interpretation
- Build strong working links with external partners and stakeholders
- Monitor project outcomes to ensure measurable improvements are achieved
- Track and realise benefits of change initiatives
