You will notify management of any changes in condition and recommend necessary adjustments in care and service. Your responsibilities will also include assisting residents with life skills and activities, developing Individualized Service Plans (ISP), and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families.
- Assist with daily living activities and attend to individual care needs.
- Monitor changes in condition and suggest adjustments in care.
- Engage residents in life skills and multi-sensory activities.
- Develop and update Individualized Service Plans (ISP).
- Ensure residents’ safety and compliance with OSHA requirements.
- Respond to residents’ dining needs, maintaining hospitality standards.
- Encourage and assist residents in enriching activities as per their profiles.
Qualifications:
- A passion for serving seniors with excellent customer service skills.
- Positive attitude, flexibility in duties, and teamwork ability.
- High school diploma or GED (may be required per state regulations).
- Certification maintenance as required by state laws.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Previous experience working with seniors is preferred.
- Ability to make decisions in the residents’ best interest.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Competency in organizational and time management skills.
- Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
