Job Description

Title: Cyber Security Consultant
Location: Bellshill, United Kingdom

Sword Group is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cyber Security Consultant to join their dynamic team. This role involves helping organizations secure their data-driven journeys by designing, delivering, and optimizing secure, high-performing hybrid infrastructure environments. The consultant will act as a trusted advisor, understanding customer requirements, collaborating on solution development, and fostering long-term partnerships for ongoing success.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate deep customer relationships to understand their business landscape, challenges, and strategic objectives.
  • Drive solution-focused dialogues, showcasing the capabilities of relevant security products.
  • Deliver impactful product presentations that articulate the value proposition and benefits of security solutions.
  • Provide technical sales leadership throughout the sales and delivery cycle, ensuring a seamless client experience.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role or field-based/consulting role.
  • Specialized technical knowledge and industry qualifications (e.g., GICSP, GCIP, CISSP, CISM).
  • Expertise in cyber security frameworks, standards, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in risk analysis, management of cybersecurity controls, and standards (ISO 27000, NIST, SANS CSC).
  • Understanding of Infrastructure, Networking, Cloud environments, and Identity & Access Management.
  • Experience with Backup & Recovery technologies (Cohesity experience advantageous).
  • Previous experience with Security Operations Centre or Incident Response team is advantageous.
  • Ability to pass the Non-Police Personnel Vetting (NPPV) Security Clearance as set by Warwickshire Police.
