About the Role:

Join a global enterprise and work on the most vital redundant systems in oil, gas, and power generation facilities. You will be responsible for designing hardware and wiring for bespoke, hardwired safety systems used in the automation of industrial processes across manufacturing, chemical, pharmaceutical, energy, and oil & gas industries. Additionally, you will occasionally assist with the commissioning of safety systems on-site, including offshore rigs and other locations throughout the UK.

Position Details:

  • Designing Distributed Control Systems: Focus on industrial automation.
  • Hybrid Working: Up to 3 days of remote work per week.
  • National and Offshore Travel: Assist with commissioning new systems, up to 2 weeks at a time.

Candidate Profile:

  • Background: Controls Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Safety Engineer, or similar.
  • Certifications: Understanding of TÜV Nord Functional Safety or IEC61508/61511 certifications.
  • Wiring Regulations: Knowledge of 17th/18th Edition wiring regulations.
