Job Description
ISQ Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Poultry Farm Manager to oversee operations at a broiler farm in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. This full-time, permanent position requires a hands-on manager to ensure the highest standards in bird welfare, quality, and cost efficiency. Responsibilities include monitoring farm conditions, enforcing biosecurity measures, and managing staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee bird welfare, ensuring optimal standards are maintained.
- Monitor and manage farm conditions including ventilation, heating, feed, water, litter, and lighting.
- Adhere to and enforce strict biosecurity protocols.
- Maintain accurate records and weekly paperwork.
- Manage and train farm employees.
- Handle administrative tasks such as employee timesheets.
- Attend relevant training courses as recommended by the company.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proven ability to manage staff and a strong background in stock management.
- Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
- Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
