Requirements

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience 
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a Digital Services environment, providing advanced technical support for Microsoft Windows technologies 
  • Knowledge in the design, installation, and configuration of complex, multi-site data networks 
  • Excellent knowledge of PC and Server architectures 
  • Knowledge of Cloud Environments including Office 365 and Azure 
  • Strong technical skills with specialist skills in areas including IP Telephony and Microsoft server products 
  • Full driving licence (required)

About the Role
As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for the support, maintenance, and development of the Trust’s network and telephony infrastructure. You will maintain and troubleshoot the Digital Services Infrastructure to enable maximum system availability and investigate and demonstrate the use of new and emerging technologies to support and improve ways of working across the organisation. The role also involves participating in the Digital Services Out of hours On-Call emergency service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support, maintain, and develop the Trust’s network and telephony infrastructure 
  • Maintain and troubleshoot the Digital Services Infrastructure 
  • Investigate and demonstrate the use of new and emerging technologies 
  • Plan and organise the installation of equipment and other digital services 
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation 
  • Participate in the education and training of new staff members 
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures
