Job Description
Percona is seeking a Global Services Product Manager to lead their journey into the next era of global services. This role involves defining the product vision and strategy for Global Services, conducting thorough market research, and managing the complete product lifecycle. The position requires designing and enhancing services products, ensuring successful product launches, and driving growth and adoption. The Product Manager will also develop strategic customer relationships and support sales efforts related to services products.
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of Product Management experience, preferably in service offerings within a software ecosystem
- Experience with open-source software, services, and communities
- Strong communication skills with both internal team members and external customers
- Proficiency in using metrics and data to make informed decisions and generate actionable insights
- Experience working with a geographically distributed remote team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB and related technologies
- Understanding of challenges faced by users and customers deploying databases
- Strong public speaking skills and ability to evangelize
- Start-up or scale-up experience, with an understanding of the dynamics of a growing services and software company
