As a Software Developer, you will play a crucial role in the development and management of various data-related tasks. Your responsibilities will include:
- Incorporating different files published every minute, hour, and day.
- Transferring data from low to high classification environments with proper guards.
- Making data files available for download to groups running other instances.
- Bug fixing, database, and file management, infrastructure management, and user support.
- Regular patching of Nominatim and Overpass API to support cloud-based deployment.
- Overlaying customer patches onto the evolving open-source codebase.
- Supporting users using Overpass query language, providing assistance and guidance.
Technology Requirements:
- 6+ years of Software Development experience.
- Working knowledge and experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL).
- Experience with programming languages such as C++, JavaScript, Python.
- Preferred experience working with container technologies (Docker and/or Kubernetes).
- Preferred experience working in AWS environments utilizing tools such as EC2, ECS, S3.
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
