Job Description
Southern Health is seeking a passionate Specialist Occupational Therapist to join their team at St Marys Hospital, Parkhurst Road, Newport, PO30. In this permanent part-time role, you will work within the Memory Service alongside a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and support staff. Your responsibilities will include providing community-based occupational therapy services to adults with dementia across various settings, including homes, hospitals, and care facilities.
Skills and Qualifications
- Qualified Occupational Therapist with expertise in dementia care.
- Experience in supervising students and working within multidisciplinary teams.
- Proven ability in assessment, treatment planning, and program implementation.
- Capability to manage a case load effectively and utilize resources efficiently.
- Proficient IT skills and a clean driving license with business usage insurance.
Duration and Location
Permanent position located at St Mary’s Hospital, Parkhurst Road, Newport, Isle of Wight, PO30 5TG.

Compensation
Salary range from £35,392 to £42,618 per year under the Agenda for Change pay scheme.
