Person Specification

Qualifications and Education
Essential Criteria

  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent clinical experience with children and young people.
  • GCSE Mathematics and English at grade C or above, or equivalent numeracy and literacy skills.

Desirable Criteria

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.

Knowledge and Experience
Essential Criteria

  • Significant experience working with children and families, including those with health needs.
  • Basic understanding of nursing care organisation.
  • Awareness of confidentiality concepts and applications.

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience in a healthcare setting, especially paediatric outpatient care.
