An exciting opportunity has arisen for people interested in Children’s Complex Needs Co-Ordinator jobs with visa sponsorship. Main Duties of the Job
- Provide expert nursing support for children and young people with complex physical health needs attending special schools in West Hertfordshire.
- Coordinate care through communication with multiple agencies and professionals, ensuring seamless service delivery.
- Act as a key point of contact outside of term time for advice and support, ensuring the ongoing health needs of children are met.
- Participate in discharge planning, multi-disciplinary team meetings, and home visits to assess the impact of health needs on school attendance.
- Support the transition back to school following episodes of prolonged illness.
- Act as a resource for professionals, offering advice and ensuring the health needs of children are met effectively and consistently.

Education
Essential Criteria
- Registered Children or Learning Disabilities Nurse
- First Degree in a relevant subject or equivalent qualification/experience
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
Desirable Criteria
- Management qualification
- Registered Specialist Practitioner or equivalent post-graduate qualification or experience
Experience
Essential Criteria
- Experience in teaching and assessing children, parents, and staff
- Strong knowledge of managing long-term conditions and complex needs
- Knowledge of safeguarding issues and legal frameworks
- Experience managing acute paediatric conditions
Desirable Criteria
- Experience working as a Special School Nurse
