Job Overview
This position offers an opportunity to join the diabetes clinical nurse specialist team as part of the Specialist Diabetes Nursing Team at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust. The role includes working across diabetes services and sites within the Trust, depending on service priorities. Requirements
The ideal candidate will have broad experience as a registered nurse, a passion for advancing services, and specific experience in diabetes care. Key qualifications include:

  • Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
  • Demonstrable experience in acute inpatient or community settings
  • Ability to travel between sites
    Desirable qualifications include experience in diabetes-specific settings, IT proficiency, leadership experience at Band 6 AfC level, and nurse prescribing.
