AGI Scholarship Programs offer merit-based opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students pursuing geoscience majors. The scholarships aim to foster diversity and excellence in the field.
Eligibility Criteria
For the Harriet Evelyn Wallace Scholarship for Female Graduate Geoscience Students:
- Applicants must be female U.S. citizens or legal residents.
- Undergraduate seniors, graduate, or postgraduate students are eligible.
- Minimum GPA of 3.5 for undergraduates and 3.0 for graduates.
- Active members of at least one AGI professional member society.
For Deep Carbon Observatory Diversity Grant:
- Geoscientists pursuing doctoral degrees, post-doctoral researchers, early-career faculty, or research staff.
- Traditionally underrepresented minorities in geoscience.
- U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
- Research interests aligned with DCO’s mission.
