About the Role:
As an Intel Analytics Engineer at OpenAI, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the team’s capabilities in AI safety by proactively identifying and mitigating emerging threats. Leveraging your expertise in data analytics and technical skills, you will analyze abuse trends and risks to strengthen AI safety measures. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to policy recommendations, and advance best practices for safe AI use at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement analytics solutions for AI safety abuse trend recognition and risk assessment.
  • Conduct quantitative analyses of potential AI abuse scenarios, identifying key risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design robust AI safety and security analysis.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in AI and machine learning to enhance safety measures.
  • Contribute to the creation of policy recommendations and best practices for safe AI use.
  • Engage in continuous learning and development to remain an expert in AI safety and security.

Qualifications:

  • Strong background in data analytics, computer science, or related field with at least 5 years of experience.
  • Proficiency in programming languages and analytical tools relevant to AI and data analysis (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
  • Experience in AI, machine learning, intelligence, risk management, or related areas.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking ability.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in threat modeling or risk analysis (preferred).

Interview Process:
