Job Description
Fungi Perfecti is seeking a talented Content Writer responsible for creating and editing a variety of written content for direct-to-consumer (D2C) channels, and occasionally for business-to-business (B2B) channels. This includes emails, blogs, landing pages, product listings, social captions, product packaging, printed marketing materials, impact reports, catalogs, and more. The role requires a critical eye and exceptional attention to detail for both accuracy and compliance. This is a remote, full-time position reporting to the Marketing Communications Manager, with some flexibility in work hours and occasional local travel.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience as a Copywriter, Content Writer, Content Specialist, or related role
- Strong marketing writing background with exceptional copywriting and editing skills
- Ability to translate technical information into easy-to-understand content
- Proficiency in writing for SEO and understanding of website user experience
- Highly developed organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Docs or similar word processing platforms
- Ability to accept and implement constructive feedback
- Valid driver’s license acceptable in the state of Washington
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the natural products industry
- Basic knowledge of DSHEA guidelines
- Experience with Asana or similar task management platform
Compensation
- Annual salary range: $68,000 – $92,000
