Key Performance Competencies:

  • Collaborate closely with the Director of Business Development to align marketing strategies with sales objectives.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in project management, copywriting, and copyediting.
  • Utilize sales techniques such as prospecting, lead generation, negotiation, and deal closure.
  • Apply comprehensive understanding of marketing principles, including market segmentation and targeting.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a sales and marketing team effectively.
  • Possess strong understanding of website development and CRM management.
  • Utilize data analytics to measure marketing effectiveness and provide regular reports on key performance indicators.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Formulate comprehensive marketing plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Develop campaign strategies and conduct market research to understand industry trends.

  • Manage CRM (HubSpot) and track key performance metrics.
  • Set measurable goals for sales and marketing team activities and generate regular reports on performance.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for project execution.
  • Stay abreast of evolving marketing trends and implement innovative strategies.

Knowledge/Skills Required and or Preferred:

  • Demonstrated leadership and management experience (minimum 5 years preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, social media platforms, and CRMs, preferably HubSpot.
  • Experience with WordPress and learning management systems (LMS).
  • Strong writing, editing, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to grasp new concepts and work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to adapt to change and meet deadlines.

Education, Training, and Experience:

  • Post-secondary degree in a relevant field, plus a minimum of 5 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
