Description:
Bespoke Health & Social Care is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Female Support Worker to join our team in Armthorpe, Doncaster. This role is essential in providing first-class quality care to individuals with complex needs, particularly through waking night shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Companionship and Support: Provide emotional and psychological support to clients, ensuring they feel valued and respected.
- Daily Living Assistance: Assist with personal care, meal preparation, household tasks, and other daily activities.
- Medical Support: Administer prescribed medications accurately, document any observed side effects, and follow established protocols.
- Safety and Health: Ensure a safe environment, recognize potential risks, and respond appropriately to emergencies.
- Team Collaboration: Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance professional development and stay updated on best practices.
- Relationship Building: Foster positive relationships with clients, promoting a sense of empowerment, dignity, and well-being.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:
- Empathy and Compassion: A deep understanding of delivering high-quality care with an encouraging nature.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals.
- Medication Management: Knowledge and competence in administering medications and accurately documenting administration.
- Driving: UK driver’s license with access to own vehicle.
- Experience: Previous experience in the care sector and knowledge of complex care is essential.
