Job Description

Learning Tail is seeking a bilingual French-speaking tutor/teacher—a dynamic and creative individual—to join their team of smart, motivated people. This role will provide interactive video tutoring and create a library of homework assignments. The successful applicant will deliver a firm learning environment, design educational materials that maximize learning, and dovetail with student needs.

Key Responsibilities

Tutoring

• Conduct engaging, interactive video tutoring sessions with students.
• Tailor the sessions to the individual needs and styles of students.
• Engage and motivate students by using effective teaching strategies.
• Provide feedback and progress reports to parents of the students regarding learning and development.

Curriculum Design

• Develop a library with a myriad of homework assignments in a variety of subjects.
• Collaborate with the team for continuous improvement of educational content and resources.
• Create enjoyable and actionable educational material for young learners.

Qualifications

Required:

• Proven teaching or tutoring experience in making engaging experiences.
• Firm background in curriculum development and creation of educational resources.
• Ability to connect with students to make learning enjoyable.
• Good communication skills—clear and effective articulation of content for students.
• Experience with remote teaching platforms and ability to use digital tools effectively.
• Flexibility and creativity in implementing teaching methods according to the tempo of each student.
• Reliable internet connection and proper equipment (laptop).

Preferred:

• Homework assignment design and education material design.
• Familiarity with various teaching techniques and learning styles.
