About the Role

As a Health Care Assistant at GOSH, you’ll play a crucial role in providing high-quality, compassionate care to children, young people, and their families. You’ll work as part of a multidisciplinary team, carrying out both clinical and non-clinical duties delegated by registered health practitioners. This position offers an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young patients while developing your skills in a world-class healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered healthcare professionals
  • Assist with daily living activities, including feeding, bathing, and mobilization
  • Monitor and record patients’ vital signs
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team
  • Participate in training and development activities
