Salary Details

Band 3 salary ranging from £21,000 to £23,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.

About the Role

The Band 3 Healthcare Assistant will work across various specialty clinics, including Orthopaedics, Colorectal, Cardiology, Rheumatology, Renal, Respiratory, and Urology. The role requires extended skills such as venepuncture, ECG recording, and basic observations. The assistant will support registered nurses in delivering high-quality patient care, maintaining patient dignity, and ensuring a compassionate approach at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist registered nurses in providing patient care
  • Maintain patient privacy and dignity
  • Contribute to departmental objectives as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Develop and maintain competencies in nursing tasks
  • Contribute to housekeeping and other department duties
