Job Description:
Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Clinical Fellow in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (O&G). This position offers a fixed-term contract with a competitive salary of £55,329 per year and the opportunity for UK visa sponsorship.

Role Overview:
The Senior Clinical Fellow will join a dynamic team of 16 registrars and clinical fellows, participating in a 1 in 8 on-call rota. During weekdays, on-call cover is provided by an on-site consultant until 9:30 pm and during weekends until 2:00 pm. Night shifts include a senior registrar and a junior registrar, with the consultant available on-call from home.
Responsibilities include general obstetrics and gynaecology clinics, recurrent miscarriage clinics, labour ward sessions, and emergency gynaecology cover. The role requires previous experience in obstetrics and gynaecology, a valid Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care in obstetrics and gynaecology clinics.
- Participate in on-call duties as part of a 1 in 8 rota.
- Assist in emergency gynaecology and labour ward sessions.
- Support the trust’s mission of delivering world-class care and research.
- Maintain a high standard of patient care and safety.
Person Specification:
- Current full GMC Registration.
- Previous experience in the NHS/UK at a senior level in obstetrics and gynaecology is desirable.
- Proven ability to manage common obstetric and acute gynaecology emergencies.
- Demonstrable alignment with the trust’s values and objectives.
