About the Role

The Health Care Assistant plays a vital role in providing compassionate support to clients, ensuring their needs are met with a person-centered approach. This position involves assisting with daily living activities, medication support, companionship, and maintaining a safe, respectful living environment. Candidates are expected to promote independence, maintain effective communication, and follow detailed care plans tailored to each client.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care, including assistance with washing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Support clients with medication management and nutritional needs.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks like cleaning and laundry.
  • Foster companionship by engaging in meaningful conversations with clients.
  • Accompany clients on trips and errands within the community.
  • Maintain clear communication with field care supervisors and contribute to care plan updates.
  • Safely use manual handling equipment and handle client property responsibly.

Salary Details

  • Pay Range: £12.00–£12.50 per hour.
  • Expected hours: 20–40 per week.
