Requirements
- Full driving license and access to own transport
- Ideally some experience in care, either professionally or through caring for a family member
- Empathy, kindness, and energy to support clients effectively
- Local applicants only (no visa sponsorship available)
- Willingness to work alternate weekends

About the Role
Right at Home is looking for a Home Care Companion to provide support to clients in their homes. The role involves assisting with personal care, companionship, home help, meals, outings, and specialist dementia care. The company prioritizes regular visits to the same clients, ensuring a consistent team that clients can form relationships with. This approach eliminates rushed visits and fosters a comfortable, professional atmosphere.
Key responsibilities include:
- Personal care: assisting clients with daily routines, such as bathing and dressing
- Companionship: spending quality time with clients, including outings and activities
- Home help: assisting with light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Specialist dementia care: providing specialized care for clients with dementia
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance to clients
- Build strong, trusting relationships with clients
- Assist clients with daily tasks, such as cleaning, cooking, and running errands
- Ensure a safe environment for clients by adhering to health and safety protocols
- Support clients with activities, outings, and social events
- Complete all required documentation in a timely manner
