Requirements
- Registered Nurse with an active NMC pin
- Proven experience in end-of-life care and safe discharge planning
- Skills in venepuncture, catheterization, wound care, IV medication administration, and ECGs
- Ability to work under pressure with effective communication skills
- A compassionate approach to holistic patient care
Salary Details
The annual salary ranges between £29,970 and £36,483, depending on experience. This position includes 12-hour rotational shifts, covering weekends, holidays, and nights as required.
About the Role
Keswick Ward provides a dynamic and supportive environment for nurses passionate about holistic care. This 16-patient ward focuses on recovery, complex discharge planning, and palliative care. Nurses work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver exceptional healthcare services to step-up and step-down patients.
As part of the team, nurses will engage in educating patients on lifestyle management, supporting families during end-of-life care, and handling chronic illnesses or sudden health declines. Candidates will also manage clinical responsibilities such as IV treatments, wound care, and catheterization.
