Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and motivated Public Health Staff Nurses 0-19 to join the dynamic Weymouth, North Dorset, and Dorchester Localities. Various part-time vacancies are available with core hours of 09:00 – 17:00, with no weekend working required.

Main Duties of the Job
The role involves participation in the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme, working in partnership with children, young people, families, Local Authority Children’s Services, Early Years Providers, Schools, voluntary and community sector agencies, and other healthcare providers. Collaboration with other members of the CYP Public Health Service 0-19 is essential to provide services that address identified needs, including safeguarding and supporting children, young people, and their families through evidence-based early intervention strategies.

Knowledge, Skills, and Training

  • Membership of the relevant professional body (NMC)
