Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (minimum requirement)
- At least one year of senior care assistant experience (preferred)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Confidence working in a team
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Reliable transport due to the care home’s location
- Commitment to vocational training programs
- Basic understanding of infection prevention and control
Desired:
- Experience or qualification in the safe handling of medicines

Key duties include ensuring all care plans are regularly reviewed and updated to meet individual needs, managing staff schedules to maintain consistent care, and supervising the overall cleanliness and safety of the care home.
As part of this role, the Senior Care Assistant will also handle personal care needs, support residents with leisure activities, and provide assistance during mealtimes to ensure a positive experience. Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional care and guidance to residents
