Job Role: Theatre Porter
An opportunity is available for a Band 2 Theatre Porter at Eastbourne District General Hospital.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate patient movement through theatres, including transporting patients from surgical wards to theatre and recovery areas.
- Transport equipment, specimens, and blood products across the hospital as required.
- Support waste management processes within theatres.
This role requires availability for weekend and bank holiday shifts as part of a full-time service commitment. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are essential due to the multidisciplinary nature of the role.
