Job Description
Oakfield (Easton Maudit) Ltd is seeking dedicated and compassionate Waking Night Care Staff to join their team. This role involves providing high-quality care and support for individuals with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and autism. The position is based in a small rural charity that operates two homes, one of which has 10 self-contained flats with two additional flats under construction.

Job Qualifications
Candidates must have a positive outlook on life, a passion for supporting others, and the creativity to think outside the box. They should be able to relate well to those they support and their colleagues, contributing positively to a strong support staff team while maintaining high professional standards. A recognized Health and Care qualification is preferred, though candidates willing to work towards such a qualification are also welcome. The ability to work according to a rota, including alternate weekends and bank holidays, is essential. A valid UK driving license is preferable.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a team to create a caring, supportive, and stimulating environment.
  • Enable individuals to fulfill their potential and engage in various elements of home life.
  • Encourage and support those they work with to participate in a wide range of activities.
  • Maintain and promote the independence and choice of the people they support.
  • Assist individuals with daily tasks such as washing, dressing, meal preparation, and medication.
  • Adhere to CQC guidelines.

The role is based at Castle Ashby Road, Yardley Hastings, Northampton, NN7 1, Northamptonshire, United Kingdom.

Salary
The salary ranges from £9.01 to £9.70 per hour, depending on experience.

Hours
This is a full-time nights position.
