Job Overview:

We are expanding our team and seeking full-time and part-time Residential Childcare Workers. The ideal candidates will have at least two years of experience working with vulnerable young people in a residential setting. They should be fully qualified according to the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) standards and possess a clean driving license.

Daily Responsibilities:

As a Residential Childcare Worker, you will:

  • Assist young people with personal care tasks
  • Oversee and administer medication
  • Build positive relationships as a companion and mentor
  • Prepare meals and drinks
  • Support the daily routines and development of coping mechanisms for young people with complex needs

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • HNC and SVQ3 or equivalent qualifications
  • Clean driving license
  • Flexibility to work unsocial hours, including weekends
  • Commitment to promoting the Health and Social Care Standards

Shift Patterns:

Our shift patterns include 24-hour shifts with 8-hour sleepovers. The typical schedule involves a 3 on, 3 off pattern, with options for 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts.
