Job Description

Devon County Council is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Residential Support Worker to join their enthusiastic and welcoming team in Honiton. This role involves supporting children and young people to achieve personal goals, creating a fun and positive atmosphere, organizing activities, and seeking innovative methods to engage. The work is both emotionally and physically demanding, but highly rewarding for those with the drive, dedication, resilience, and passion.

Compensation

  • Starting rate at £12.80 per hour, rising to £13.69 per hour
  • Overnight rate at £17.07 per hour, rising to £18.25
  • Saturday rate at £19.20 per hour, rising to £20.54
  • Sunday and bank holidays rate at £25.60 per hour, rising to £27.38
  • Annual salary from £24,702 to £26,421 per annum, plus enhancements (up to £4,000 per year)
