Requirements
- Degree-level qualification or experience in an NHS Moving & Handling Team role
- Background as a Nurse, Physio, or Occupational Therapist
- Confidence delivering group training sessions
- Experience in risk assessments for patients and loads
- Solid understanding of manual handling legislation in healthcare
- Great people skills and a problem-solving mindset
- Strong IT skills with Word, email, and spreadsheets
- Commitment to continuous learning and CPD
Desirable extras
- Recognised teaching or IT qualifications
- Community care experience
- Background in musculoskeletal or manual handling work
Salary Details
Band 5 to Band 6 development – Structured competency framework with support for progression. Evidence-based promotion to Band 6 expected within 18 months.
