Salary Details
This role offers an Agenda for Change Band 4 salary, starting from £26,530 up to £29,114 annually. You’ll be working within a fixed 16-month term, with the potential to shape national care delivery.
About the Role
This isn’t a typical assistant role. You’re stepping into the frontline of change. You’ll support the delivery of a groundbreaking national PrEP initiative across several NHS trusts. With a mix of outreach and remote work, you’ll be reaching women, overseas nationals, and other vulnerable groups who’ve often had limited access to sexual health services. Your work will improve health outcomes and push forward best practices that could influence future NHS care models. This is one of those UK job opportunities that feels both urgent and lasting.
Key Responsibilities
- Support tailored outreach programmes to promote PrEP access among underserved groups
- Assist in evaluating care plans and track patient responses alongside clinical leads
- Work closely with sexual health teams across NHS sites and communities
- Contribute to project data collection and audit activities to improve care
- Build trust and rapport with service users including women, students, and migrant populations
- Promote health education messages that empower people with knowledge
