About the Role

This role supports the radiology team by carrying out routine x ray examinations under the guidance of registered radiographers. Each scan helps move a patient toward answers so they can get the right treatment. The work blends technical skill with human connection as you guide people through what can feel like an anxious moment. They’ll trust you to carry out safety checks, protect their wellbeing, and maintain high image quality. You’ll also help keep rooms prepared, equipment safe, and records accurate so the whole service runs smoothly. Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine x ray exams that support quick and accurate diagnosis
• Complete safety and identity checks so every patient feels protected
• Prepare rooms and equipment to keep the department moving

• Reassure patients and explain procedures in a calm relatable way
• Maintain digital records that keep care pathways clear
