Requirements
- Honours Degree in Psychology (minimum 2i or 2ii with relevant MSc)
- Eligible for HCPC or BPS graduate membership
- Experience in NHS or similar setting supporting clients with emotional, behavioural, or cognitive needs
- Knowledge of ASC assessment tools and experience using psychometric measures
- Strong communication skills – especially when working with distressed families or cross-cultural settings
- Confidence working independently under supervision

About the Role
This Assistant Psychologist post blends compassion with complexity. Based within two tight-knit clinical teams, you’ll support children aged 0 to 7 with autism spectrum conditions (ASC), as well as young people managing long-term physical health conditions. You’ll observe children in school and home settings, support diagnosis journeys, deliver interventions, and provide therapeutic input that makes a real difference in daily lives.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out structured autism assessments with supervision
