Requirements
- A good standard of general education including GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths.
- Experience or familiarity with using a range of communication tools.
- Solid IT skills to independently produce helpful communication resources.
- A proven ability to work well as part of a team and also on your own initiative.
- Solid organisation skills and a flexible approach to your work.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business travel.
Salary Details
This Band 4 role offers a starting salary between £27,485 and £30,162 per annum on the NHS Agenda for Change pay scale. The exact point you come in at depends on your current experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out agreed communication support plans to help service users engage more fully with the world around them.
- Observe service users in various settings providing crucial insights to the therapy team to inform care.
- Develop tailored resources like symbol books and accessible information to empower individuals.
- Work closely with a multi disciplinary team to ensure a consistent and supportive approach for every service user.
- Assist with clinical administration ensuring smooth running of the service so therapists can focus on complex care.
