Requirements
- NVQ Level 4, A-Levels, BTEC, or equivalent in health-related disciplines
- Practical knowledge of Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy principles
- Experience delivering patient care and supporting rehabilitation activities
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Solid communication and IT skills
- Willingness to seek guidance when needed and support junior colleagues
- UK travel flexibility

About the Role
This Assistant Therapy Practitioner role is perfect if you’re ready to take the next step in your healthcare journey. Working across community settings in Mid Powys, you’ll deliver hands-on care to support individuals recovering at home or transitioning from hospital. From helping prevent unnecessary admissions to progressing therapy goals in real time, your work will shape real outcomes for Powys residents.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver tailored therapy sessions under the guidance of qualified therapists
- Support rehabilitation goals that help clients stay independent at home
- Monitor patient progress and adjust activities to suit evolving needs
- Collaborate across community teams to ensure coordinated care
- Identify safety concerns and raise them promptly
- Supervise junior staff when appropriate
- Keep records updated and follow agreed protocols
