Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy
  • HCPC registration and active CPD portfolio
  • At least 18 months post-grad experience, preferably across rotational areas
  • Comfortable supervising junior staff and guiding students
  • Confident in clinical decision-making and communication
  • Physically able to carry out assessments and hands-on therapy
  • Willing to learn and contribute in new specialist areas

Salary Details

The role is offered at Band 6, with an annual salary ranging from 37,338 to 44,962, based on experience and internal banding.

About the Role

This is more than a job. It’s a rare chance to step into the specialist field of Hand Therapy and Rheumatology with structured support from day one. Even if you’ve only got a bit of exposure to hand therapy, they’ll back you up with monthly supervision, tailored coaching, and regular team training.

You’ll be joining an outpatient service built around teamwork. Working closely with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and a senior therapy assistant, you’ll help patients regain control, strength, and quality of life. Key Responsibilities
