About the Role
This is a pivotal leadership opportunity for an experienced professional to head the Business Intelligence and Informatics function at one of the UK’s largest NHS Trusts. As BI & Performance Manager, you’ll shape how data supports patient care, operational decisions, and system improvements across the Trust.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the BI & Informatics team within the Performance & Informatics (P&I) department.
- Develop Trust-wide insights into Elective, Cancer, and Emergency Care using high-quality data analytics.
- Support Clinical Groups and Specialties by translating data into actionable intelligence.
- Drive a data-first culture, improve BI maturity, and contribute to key decision-making processes.
- Work closely with internal teams in Finance, Strategy, Transformation, and Workforce.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong background in business intelligence, analytics, or informatics within a healthcare or public sector setting.
- Proven leadership and line management experience.
- Ability to work independently and at a senior level, offering critical insight to shape services.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to turn complex data into meaningful insights.
