Position Purpose:
The Internet Sales Consultant at Bill Wright Toyota is responsible for selling new and pre-owned vehicles to customers within the assigned Dealership.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Check e-mail frequently and respond to inquiries immediately.
  2. Provide quotes to online customers based on their inquiries.
  3. Complete subsequent sales of vehicles quoted online.
  4. Maintain relationships with online customers through regular email contacts.
  5. Maintain the website.
  6. Maintain relationships with 3rd party e-vendors.
  7. Conduct vehicle sales.
  8. Handle all sales leads generated through any and all Internet sites.
  9. Maintain accurate records of customer contacts and responses.
  10. Complete required sales forms accurately and legibly.
  11. Utilize the telephone to seek and obtain appointments with prospective buyers, respond to direct inquiries, and follow up with previous customer contacts.
  12. Communicate effectively with Internet customers and prospects through their preferred method (phone, email, or in-person).
  13. Have complete knowledge of all dealership products and services.
  14. Coordinate Internet promotions with other dealership sales promotions and advertising.
  15. Research auto-buying services on the Internet and act as a liaison with any services the dealership uses to promote its site or advertising.
  16. Keep abreast of new products, features, and accessories and their benefits to clients.
  17. Adhere to work schedule and arrive on time.
  18. Comply with all safety rules and use appropriate safety equipment.
  19. Adhere to the established dress code policy.
  20. Safeguard customer and dealer information per established policy.
  21. Exemplify organizational culture and hold others accountable for doing the same.
  22. Accomplish all current and future tasks as appropriately assigned or requested.
