Position Purpose:
The Internet Sales Consultant at Bill Wright Toyota is responsible for selling new and pre-owned vehicles to customers within the assigned Dealership.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Check e-mail frequently and respond to inquiries immediately.
- Provide quotes to online customers based on their inquiries.
- Complete subsequent sales of vehicles quoted online.
- Maintain relationships with online customers through regular email contacts.
- Maintain the website.
- Maintain relationships with 3rd party e-vendors.
- Conduct vehicle sales.
- Handle all sales leads generated through any and all Internet sites.
- Maintain accurate records of customer contacts and responses.
- Complete required sales forms accurately and legibly.
- Utilize the telephone to seek and obtain appointments with prospective buyers, respond to direct inquiries, and follow up with previous customer contacts.
- Communicate effectively with Internet customers and prospects through their preferred method (phone, email, or in-person).
- Have complete knowledge of all dealership products and services.
- Coordinate Internet promotions with other dealership sales promotions and advertising.
- Research auto-buying services on the Internet and act as a liaison with any services the dealership uses to promote its site or advertising.
- Keep abreast of new products, features, and accessories and their benefits to clients.
- Adhere to work schedule and arrive on time.
- Comply with all safety rules and use appropriate safety equipment.
- Adhere to the established dress code policy.
- Safeguard customer and dealer information per established policy.
- Exemplify organizational culture and hold others accountable for doing the same.
- Accomplish all current and future tasks as appropriately assigned or requested.
