Requirements
- GCSE Maths and English C or above, or equivalent
- Degree or equivalent (Level 5+) in Health and Social Care or short courses with practical experience
- Proven team leading/managerial experience
- Experience leading a team through change
- Use of own initiative
- Time management skills
- Coaching and mentoring skills
- IT skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong communication skills across all grades and team members
- Full driving licence (required)

About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for two Band 5 Cancer Support Worker Team Leaders to join our team. One role will be based at either Worthing or St Richard’s Hospital, Chichester, and the other at either Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton, or Princess Royal Hospital in Haywards Heath, with some travel required across sites. You will be a vital part of the Cancer Information and Support Service team, providing non-clinical advice, guidance, and signposting to all patients from the point of diagnosis. This includes emotional support, financial and practical guidance, and referrals, as well as resources to support patients with physical and nutritional advice.
