Requirements
To be eligible for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Possess a valid driver’s license and own a car registered and insured in their name.
  • Be fluent in English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Display a compassionate and patient demeanor with a passion for caregiving.
  • Be willing to travel between clients’ homes.
  • Hold at least a high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Clear a background check and drug screening process.
  • While prior experience in caregiving is preferred, it is not mandatory, as full training will be provided.

About the Role
As a Female Care Assistant at Caley Home Care Ltd, you will play a vital role in the lives of clients, helping them maintain their independence and dignity. This full-time position requires a compassionate individual dedicated to providing outstanding care. Key responsibilities include assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as administering medication under the guidance of healthcare professionals. You will also help with meal planning, preparation, and feeding while performing light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and tidying.

Building meaningful relationships with clients is at the heart of this role, offering emotional support and companionship. You will escort clients to appointments, monitor their health, and report any changes in their condition. The role involves working a rotational two-week schedule (Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday; Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) with shift times from 07:00-14:00 and 16:00-22:30. Weekend availability and occasional overtime are required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily living tasks, including personal care and grooming.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
  • Administer medication as prescribed and directed by healthcare professionals.
  • Prepare meals, assist with feeding, and ensure dietary needs are met.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and general tidying.
  • Escort clients to appointments and social activities.
  • Monitor health changes and report concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided.
