Job Summary

CAS Care Solutions is seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Assistants to join their team, providing community-based care to clients in their own homes. This role requires relocation to New Milton, New Forest, and applicants must have a Full UK Driving Licence and access to their own vehicle.

Key Responsibilities

• Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, toileting, dressing, and hygiene.
• Domestic Support: Help with cleaning, laundry, and light gardening.
• Mobility Assistance: Support clients with physical disabilities or mobility challenges.
• Nutrition & Hydration: Prepare nutritious meals and ensure clients stay hydrated.
• Medication Support: Assist with prompting, observing, or administering medication.
• Companionship & Activities: Provide emotional support and encourage social engagement.
• Documentation & Monitoring: Keep detailed care records and report any changes in a client’s condition.

Requirements

Essential:

• Minimum 1 year of care experience.
• Full UK Driving Licence and own vehicle.
• Strong communication skills and an empathetic nature.
• Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.

Desirable:

• DBS on the Update Service.
• NVQ Level 2/3/5 in Health and Social Care (company-funded training available).

Working Hours

• 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts.
• Day shifts, night shifts, and weekend availability.
• Overtime available.
