- Nights: £13.23 per hour
Shift Pattern: Up to 44 hours per week, 12-hour shifts on a rota basis from Monday to Sunday

About Langdon House Care Home
Langdon House is a residential care home in Cambridge offering exceptional 24-hour care to up to 51 residents. About the Role
As a Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality care to residents, ensuring their individual needs are met. Reporting to the Team Leader, you will assist with daily activities, support residents with personal care, and help create a safe and comfortable living environment.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver person-centred care by continuously assessing, planning, and evaluating residents’ needs.
- Assist residents during meal times to ensure they receive appropriate nutrition.
- Participate in activities within the home to promote well-being and engagement.
- Attend and complete all required training and qualifications (statutory, mandatory, and developmental).
Training, Skills & Experience Required
Essential:
- A genuine passion for care and a commitment to putting residents’ needs first.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
Desirable:
- Experience in a care position.
- NVQ/QCF Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or willingness to complete training).
