Requirements

• A valid driver’s license and access to a personal car (essential)
• Minimum of 6 months of care experience (preferred but not mandatory)
• Availability for alternate weekend shifts

Salary Details

The starting salary for this role is £23,200 per year, with additional opportunities for progression. Full-time employees are expected to work a minimum of 37.5 hours per week, and there is potential for working up to 50 hours based on availability and shift needs.

About the Role

The Care Assistant at Lifted Care plays a vital role in supporting clients within their own homes, ensuring they receive personalized, compassionate care. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, toileting, medication administration, and meal preparation. Care Assistants also provide companionship and help clients with daily activities like moving, handling, and engaging in their hobbies and passions.

The role requires someone who is empathetic, patient, and willing to provide hands-on care. It’s essential to ensure clients’ dignity while assisting with personal tasks. Care Assistants at Lifted Care also help clients stay socially active by encouraging them to engage in the community and facilitating outings.
