Overview

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualised care plans tailored to each resident’s needs.
• Supervise and support care staff to maintain high care standards.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care services.
• Conduct regular assessments of residents’ needs and update care plans accordingly.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives within the care home.
• Maintain accurate records of resident care and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Provide training and leadership to staff, fostering a supportive work environment.
• Address concerns from residents and families in a timely manner.

Experience & Requirements

Essential:

• Previous supervisory experience in senior care or a similar environment.
• Strong understanding of care home operations and regulatory standards.
• Proficiency in IT systems related to care coordination and documentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven leadership capabilities with a focus on team development.
• Genuine passion for elderly care and enhancing residents’ quality of life.
