Requirements

  • You hold a GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English.
  • You have the ability to complete the Care Certificate within 12 weeks of starting.
  • You have experience in a healthcare environment and are comfortable with personal care duties.
  • You possess effective communication skills and a positive compassionate approach to your work.
  • You are prepared to work a flexible shift pattern including days nights weekends and bank holidays.

Salary Details
This is a Band 2 position with a full time salary of £24,465 per annum. For part time roles this will be calculated on a pro rata basis. Are you ready to start your journey with them

About the Role
This is your chance to become a Care Support Worker within the Critical Care team at Russells Hall Hospital. You will be working in a high acuity environment where your role is essential in supporting patients with complex needs. You will be a key part of the multidisciplinary team assisting with personal care basic clinical tasks and helping to maintain a safe and clean setting. Its a role that offers immense job satisfaction and the chance to build a meaningful career in healthcare with a supportive team around you every step of the way.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with personal care and basic clinical tasks ensuring patient comfort and dignity are always maintained.
  • Help maintain a high standard of cleanliness within the Critical Care unit contributing to a safe environment for everyone.
  • Support the multidisciplinary team during procedures enabling them to deliver complex patient care efficiently.
  • Manage the admission transfer and discharge processes helping the unit run smoothly for patients and staff.
  • Answer phone calls politely and professionally directing enquiries to ensure effective communication across the team.
