Requirements
- A level or NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
- Experience in personal care for older adults in home settings
- Proven background managing staff and delivering high-quality care
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office and admin coordination
- Calm under pressure with great problem-solving abilities
- Comfortable working solo and leading a team on shift
- Physically able to support clients with complex needs
- Able to handle difficult situations with care and sound judgment
Salary Details
This role offers a salary between £31,944 and £34,937 annually, depending on experience.
About the Role
This is a hands-on job with heart. You’ll coordinate a tight-knit team of Community Health Support Workers who help people get back on their feet after hospital stays or health setbacks at home. The goal? Keep people out of hospital, restore their independence, and bring dignity to everyday care.
Part of your time will be spent as a Senior Reablement Support Worker leading staff, reviewing care plans, and ensuring quality standards. The other part? You’ll switch gears and manage referrals, plan daily visits, and handle the essential admin that keeps things running.
It’s a role for someone who thrives in a busy environment, leads by example, and wants to make a real difference in people’s lives—right where it counts.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of frontline care workers in Camden
- Train and assess staff to ensure top-quality delivery
- Review care packages weekly to match changing needs
- Carry out initial care assessments and plan reviews
- Manage shift rosters and be the designated lead when on duty
- Handle incoming referrals and coordinate daily care visits
- Keep accurate records and manage service-related admin
- Spot changes in a client’s condition early and respond promptly
