Requirements
- City & Guilds 706 / 1 & 2 certification
- Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate (or equivalent)
- Previous experience in catering
- Knowledge of allergens, dietary requirements, and HACCP documentation
- Ability to work under pressure and follow instructions

About the Role
The role of Chef at St Cadoc’s Hospital involves working within the Facilities Team, assisting with the day-to-day supervision and organisation of catering services. You will be responsible for producing meals for patients, staff, and visitors, meeting dietary requirements, and managing food safety and quality in line with Health & Safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning team members’ work schedules and resource needs
- Coordinating team efforts to meet targets
- Producing meals, snacks, and special dietary meals
- Supervising catering assistants
- Monitoring food safety and ensuring compliance with regulations
