Job Summary

The employer, Melvin Zangwill, is seeking a responsible and dedicated Child Caregiver to provide care within a private home in Montréal. The position is full-time, requiring 40 hours per week, with flexibility in hours. The caregiver will assume full responsibility for the household during the absence of the parents, performing duties related to childcare and household management.

Key Responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents.
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children.
• Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents.
• Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
• Organize activities such as games and outings for children.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
• Supervise and care for children.
• Tend to the emotional well-being of children.
• Help children with homework.
• Cook meals for the children.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in a similar role.
• Languages: English or French.
